  it may be far more significant than many people realise!.

  and before anyone whinges that one or two are 'old light', the fact remains that all of them are rejecting what was once 'inspired truth' from the revered fds, and disagreeing with any one of these (now current) falsehoods would have resulted in your "stoning to death" and shunning by all whom you loved.

  David Splane does not bow head when giving a prayer!

  this is a report in spanish conerning david splane giving a prayer at a convention.. perhaps someone can translate it better, but google translate gave the following:.

  during prayer, should no longer be necessary to bow his head in a mass meeting, as was splane throughout the prayer, head up, down, left and right looking at all tiers, not hiding in the least.. so splane is looking all around at the sudience while giving a prayer?!!!.

  can someone confirm that is what the spanish text says?.

  Yep, not even an audible "Amen" is required.

  When a Christian representing the congregation in prayer concludes with this expression, those listening may also add an “Amen” in their hearts or audibly to indicate their strong approval of what has just been said.—1 Corinthians 14:16.

  as most of us know, the society is spending 10's of millions of dollars on a giant, state of the art, secluded bunker country club headquarters in very remote, isolated warwick ny.. the question that "some" have is, why?

  if armageddon is coming "very soon", why go to all that time & effort & expense?

  why have thousands of jws dedicating their time to this massive effort instead of the "lifesaving ministry"?.

  first time i ever heard anyone say there was 'proof' of noah's flood.. very interesting,.

  showed a trawler, where the team dredges regularly in the north sea - for animal bones, massive land animal bones, mammoths.. he said, originally, the bones were sent for analysis, and the dr stated, they were proof of noah's flood.. the north sea area was a land mass of dry grazing lands.

  and it was very similar to africa.. many bones were found in london, of lions, hippos, etc ... when they were digging out the underground.. .

  Both, 1. Timothy and Titus attributes 'soundness in mind' only to elders, not ministerial servants.

  You are expecting to high of a standard with these God-fearing people.

  one of the elders was sent to our house to talk to me the possibility of being recommended as elder.

  he did not know however that one of the elders who is a friend of mine had already divulged this future meeting.

  He referred to the vision of the great crowd. We have the opportunity to be part of it as it is open to all. The prophecy started its fulfilment at Pentecost 33 CE.

  As always - too bad no recording device was converting their bits into bytes.

  Those 8 GB crackheads truly have no more HS than the rest of mankind.

  • The Selma and Steve reference above is used to highlight how The Watchtower has encouraged members to react to some cases of domestic violence stemming from religious differences. Most outside the faith (and likely many individuals inside) would recommend any victim of domestic violence contact the proper authorities.

  JWs definition of "proper authorities"

  • Most outside the faith (if not all) will call the police.

  • Likely many individuals inside the faith will call the elders, which, in turn, will call Bethel.
